Jean went to Kristin School in Albany, Auckland and then graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the School of Dentistry, University of Otago. She then undertook 2 more years of postgraduate training at the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Sydney and obtained the fellowship in general dentistry (FRACDS).
As well has having plenty of clinical experience, she participated in a number of international dental programs (including student exchange in USA & Canada) during her training/career and continues to attend many dental conferences both in NZ and overseas to keep up to date with the latest techniques and advances in dentistry. Jean had an opportunity to work in several different regions of Auckland and strives to provide a quality care with a friendly and caring manner. Although Jean has a wide interest in all areas of dentistry, she has a special interest in preventive & restorative dentistry.

Jean is a member of New Zealand Dental Association, Auckland Dental Association, New Zealand Society for Anaesthesia & Sedation in Dentistry and a member of General Dental Council of UK. She speaks fluent English and Korean. She enjoys to communicate and educate her patients.

Her interests outside dentistry include art, music, history, travel and books. She lives on the shore with her husband and her son.
